Get to know me and my work
My name is Zosia Makarewicz.
In 2012, I graduated with distinction in Psychology from the University of London. My dissertation received an annual award presented by the academic staff of the Department of Psychology at Birkbeck, University of London. I conducted my research under the supervision of respected specialists and researchers in the field of psychology.
In 2025, I completed a Master’s degree in Psychology with a specialisation in Clinical Psychology.
During my professional training, I gained diagnostic and clinical experience through placements in healthcare settings, including the Multi Specialty Voivodeship Hospital in Gorzów Wielkopolski.
Purpose
In my practice, I support adults experiencing difficulties related to emotional overwhelm and stress, relationship challenges, burnout, low mood, difficult life decisions, and periods of feeling stuck or uncertain about the way forward.
Approach
My work is guided by the principles of Positive Psychology, which focuses not only on difficulties but also on personal strengths, resources, resilience, and opportunities for growth. I believe that every person has the capacity to create meaningful and satisfying change in their life. Together, we can build on what is already working and discover new possibilities for moving forward.
Sessions with me
I aim to create a space where you can feel comfortable, safe, and at ease. My approach combines warmth with professional attentiveness. Clients often tell me that our conversations feel natural and relaxed. I listen carefully, ask thoughtful questions, and help people notice strengths, possibilities, and perspectives that may previously have gone unseen. Many clients say that my calm and reassuring presence helps them feel more settled and open, creating a space where they can speak at their own pace and feel genuinely heard and understood.
